FROM MALCOLM’S DESK…

NO WAKE ZONE:
In an effort to curb the Kamikazi drivers, a decision was taken to re-install the yellow channel marker buoy. Hopefully this will help.

SALES ADMINSTRATOR POSITION AVAILABLE:
Gillian is leaving the Marina. We are looking at applications for her position. CVs from interested parties are thus welcome. A working knowledge of legal paperwork would help the new person.

ACCESS CONTROL TO THE MARINA:
If you have not yet reactivated your Fingerprint or Card, then access to the Marina will be a bit awkward! Adri, Tracy and Malcolm can reactivate you onto the system, and it will be transferred onto the gates. Please call in to the Marina offices as soon as possible. Failing that, please phone Malcolm to arrange for programmed cards to be left for you at Security.

BUSY MONTH:
July sees the MSC week and the Boat Show happening. It promises to be a hive of activity around the Marina, which is always good to see.

“sy MERRYMAID”:
Lessees Chris & Lisa Smallwood had a special interest in the beautiful boat that arrived at the Marina on Thursday last week. Built in 1904, “Merrymaid” belonged to Lisa’s grandfather in the 1950’s, and is en route to Cape Town for an 18 month restoration. The Smallwoods were invited on board and report that she is a beautiful boat.

KIND REGARDS, MALCOLM
